About me
Throughout my life, I've been drawn to the immersive world of video
games and the endless possibilities of computing. This fascination led
me to pursue a degree in Computer Science at the Federal University of Campina Grande in 2016, where my love for software development truly ignited.
Since then, I've had the privilege of contributing to diverse projects, ranging
from a mobile game startup to a groundbreaking research and development project in collaboration with a major corporation. Along the way, I discovered a newfound passion for Frontend development and UI/UX design during my journey at VTEX. It was
here that I realized the power of crafting intuitive and visually
captivating user experiences.
My main focus these days is to evolve the VTEX Admin Platform and build a
Design System focusing in a good development experience. I enjoy building
software the most in the sweet spot where design and engineering meet — things
that look good but are also built well under the hood. When I’m not at the
computer, I’m usually hanging out with my friends, or traveling to discover
new places.

I played a pivotal role as a maintainer of the VTEX Admin design system,
curating a comprehensive component library with a keen focus on
optimizing the development experience. This initiative enables VTEX
developers to swiftly and seamlessly implement admin applications,
thereby accelerating development timelines while concurrently elevating
the functionality and user experience of the Admin Platform.
I played a significant role in evolving the VTEX Admin Platform by implementing
the admin redesign initiative. This effort resulted in a substantial enhancement
of the admin user interface, optimizing its functionality and aesthetics.
Additionally, I focused on refining the development experience of admin applications,
ensuring seamless integration within a micro-frontend architecture.

This project was developed as part of my final degree paper and garnered over 400 active users across Brazil.
